The large Europe map is doing well - sales are three or four a month and I will be getting a dozen more prints laminated next week.
The manual has been rewritten and basically has become multiple manuals. (For all of my maps)
My Geography rules have gone into one manual. This made sense as the same geography is used in multiple maps (Large World and the upcoming Large Pacific).
The City Ports and Trains Manual has been created - it is used in Large Europe but will also appear in Large Pacific.
Combat - had to go into its own manual. Many rules for added realism to the game of A&A.
Complete Unit Army. We all have A&A pieces and we now have A&A Europe and A&A Pacific playing pieces. So why not combine the two sets to make a complete Army. Infantry, Troopers, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Artillery, Fighters, Heavy Fighters, Bombers, Heavy Bombers, Transports, Large Transports, Coastal Subs, Ocean Subs, Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships, Escort Carriers, and Aircraft Carriers.
This army manual is cross referenced with the Geography manual.
Plus you get the political scenario and extra rules for the Large Europe map.

Why am I posting this message? I got an invite from Thrasher to check out the ETO board. It looks good and the rules sound intriguing. I hope to see the game in action soon. Hopefully will see it at Origins next July.
But I am not here to say my map and rules are better.
All I am saying is that my map is bigger.
And from the sounds of it my rules are bigger too - which is not necessarily a good thing; but with the multiple manuals you can choose to use some or all of the rules - play regular A&A or use everything - Shipbuilding, Air Combat, City Fortresses, Train Stations, Partisans, the Free French, the Vichy French, Harbour Defense, Dominion Reinforcements, Siberian Reinforcements and US Entry into the war.
The Large Europe 1941 Map is 35" wide (90 cm) and 74" (180 cm) long. You need a piece of plywood on the dining room table to play this!! A billiard table is also an excellent surface. But be careful to not spill your drinks. The billiard felt will get wet but not the Large Europe Map as it is fully laminated.
I did a custom map where the ship building area and ports were printed separately to give two sections of ~ 50" and 24" x 36".
