My favorite is the Water Commander. With easier to take bonuses, and plenty of Hidden Energy available, I usually start in South America and balloon out into the 3 surrounding water colonies. Although it rarely happens that my usual group ignores water, it is nice that if your opponents dont have a Naval commander they can't attack you.

Can someone answer these questions?

1. The rules state : Once you have your Commanders in place, you may then buy additional Space Stations (5 energy each).
Normally we play that after you buy Commanders you can buy space stations... With a tournament a few days ago a judge stated that you have to buy all the commanders and only then you can buy space stations...(which seems a bit harsh).

Been a while since there's been any discussion, so I thought I'd kick something off by telling you about a game I played last night.

3 players, 3 Nukes in North America and 1 at Angmar Wat. The Northwestern Oil Emirate was cut off and I ended up with all North America EXCEPT it.
